Govio — Onboarding redesign
Product Designer
0→1
AI design system as a Claude skill
Govio helps small businesses apply for government contracts, finding opportunities that are a good match
even with no prior contracting experience. Through user testing, the real problem surfaced: users liked what
each screen produced but kept losing the thread of why they were there and what came next. I rebuilt
onboarding around orientation, a named three-step stepper, clearer results, honest states, and a single
focused handoff, and used Govio’s design system, packaged as a Claude skill, so the redesign
was completed faster.
Before & after — orientation
The shipped flow showed progress only as an unlabeled dot bar with no step names. The redesign leads with a
named stepper so people always know where they are and where they’re going.
Before: unlabeled “n of 3” dot bar, no step names.
After: named stepper — Your business → Your matches → Get set up.

The redesigned flow
A non-interactive proof moment that shows real, live opportunities, followed by a single handoff panel with
one clear next step instead of the old three-card summary.
Your matches: real opportunities, always on the dashboard.
Handoff: one panel, one CTA, one secondary line.
Designed for every state
Each screen was designed across all of its real states, empty, detecting, high- and low-confidence results,
and error, so the flow stays clear even when things don’t go perfectly.
Error state: a clear recovery path rather than a dead end.

Govio — The pursuit loop
Onboarding hands users into the pursuit loop: the end-to-end flow of finding and going after government
work. I designed the connected surfaces as one consistent system, a dashboard that routes people to the
next action, matched opportunities, Govio’s interpreted read of each, a guided pursuit plan, and a
ready-to-use outreach kit.
Dashboard — the router
A home base that leads with the single most important next action, then surfaces active pursuits,
new matches, and capability-statement status at a glance.
Dashboard: dominant next action, work in progress, matched preview.

Find & understand
Users scan a feed of matched opportunities, then open Govio’s interpreted read of one, with key
facts and the buyer’s own posting kept visually distinct from Govio’s interpretation.
Matched opportunities: scan the feed, decide what to inspect.
Decisioning: honest read, key facts, source evidence.
Pursue & reach out
A guided pursuit plan turns a decision into clear steps, ending in a ready-to-use outreach kit,
email, questions, positioning, and a call script.
Pursuit: a numbered, guided plan of steps.
Outreach: a pre-bid kit, ready to send.

AI-first
Contributed to $3M seed

Melio
Lead Content Designer
B2B Fintech
Payments & Financing
Melio is a B2B payments platform for small businesses. I designed content and shaped the flows for
Pay over time, a financing experience that lets a business cover a bill now and repay in
installments, turning a high-stakes credit decision into a clear, trustworthy, step-by-step flow.
Introducing “Pay over time”
A focused entry point explains the offer, terms, and how it works before the user commits, then a short,
reassuring application built for eligibility without hurting credit.
Offer explainer: repayment info and how it works.
Two-step application with clear, secure framing.
Approval & repayment terms
A confident approval moment, then a transparent comparison of repayment plans with fees and totals
shown up front, so the choice is easy to understand.
Approval, tied directly to the payment in progress.
Installment options with fees and totals made explicit.

Review, confirm & schedule
A full breakdown before committing, amount, installments, fees, delivery, then a clear confirmation
that closes the loop.
Review & confirm, with the installment schedule expanded.
Confirmation with what happens next.
Managing payments
The financing flow lives inside Melio’s wider payments experience, where businesses track status,
delivery methods, and installment schedules across every vendor.

Wix — AI Writer
Senior Content Designer
AI Feature
Creator Tools
AI Writer was Wix’s first AI feature, bringing AI-powered content generation to millions of
creators building their own sites. I shaped the flow and UX content for “Get Text Ideas”, a guided
experience that takes someone from a blank text box to on-brand, ready-to-use copy in a few clear steps.
Guided, step-by-step generation
The flow asks just enough to produce useful copy, the type of site, then the topic, so results feel
personalized rather than generic, with plain-language guidance at every step.
Step 1: what type of site is this?
Step 2: choosing the topic of the text.
From generating to choosing
A reassuring generating state, then multiple editable options the user can drop straight into the page
and personalize, keeping them in control of the final copy.
Generating state while options are created.
Editable copy options, ready to use on the page.
